Migrant Resource Centres

Migrant Resource Centres (MRCs) and Migrant Service Agencies (MSAs) help with settlement issues – such as finding housing, joining English language classes, finding childcare facilities and looking for work. They can for instance help you with preparing a job application. They can also give information about Australian society, customs and institutions and they provide basic information on health, employment, education and the law. MRCs and MSAs can also tell you about government services and community organisations. MRCs and MSAs workers can offer advice in languages other than English.
